Event Description:

Join us for A Very Merry Radio Hour, Off The Dock Chamber Festival’s annual holiday celebration. Designed in the spirit of a classic live radio broadcast, this festive evening weaves music, literature, and holiday warmth into a series of dynamic vignettes.

Costumed actors from the celebrated Dickens Christmas in Skaneateles bring Victorian charm to the stage through theatrical readings and comedy sketches. A special instrumental ensemble - formed exclusively for this performance - joins vocal soloists to deliver arrangements of beloved classical masterworks (The Nutcracker Suite and more!) and traditional holiday favorites.

A highlight of the program will be a world premiere of a commissioned musical setting of Clement C. Moore’s timeless poem, A Visit from St. Nicholas (The Night Before Christmas) composed by local talent, Sean Penzo. Celebrating the spirit of the season alongside the vibrant energy of Off The Dock’s emerging artists, A Very Merry Radio Hour is a holiday celebration for audiences of all generations.
